The Earl of Chesterfield Arms
Our Delicious Story
The Earl of Chesterfield is one of Nottinghamshire’s finest rural pubs, nestled in the beautiful village of Shelford between Radcliffe-on-Trent and Gunthorpe, where our team welcomes local clientele and visitors from further afield, seeking a leisurely drink or tasty meal in a picturesque part of the countryside.
You can expect nothing but freshly prepared food at The Earl of Chesterfield. You can dine in the pub, quaint beer garden or the Chapel Restaurant, and we offer a wide selection of dishes on the lunch, a la carte and children’s menus. Our selection of hand-picked cask ales are from top regional brewers too, such as the Castle Rock and Navigation Breweries.
Food At The Earl of Chesterfield Arms
We have carefully crafted our menus to feature the best English classics as well as more modern dishes, using the finest local and seasonal ingredients.
Whether you wish to dine in the more formal surroundings of the restaurant or enjoy the more relaxed atmosphere of the bar, you are welcome to choose from either the main A La Carte or even our Light Bites menu.
We have taken a fresh approach to our wine list, so many of the wines you will find within its near 25 bins come from the best and most famous regions of the world. Instead of the obvious classics often over promised , we have chosen wines that offer the regional character from lesser known areas or villages that we feel over deliver.
